Call for papers: Re-think China’s economic transition and development”
Dates:      early December, 2010

Place:     Beijing Normal University, China

We invite proposals for presentation (abstract) in the social scientific study of economics, such as

·         China’s economic growth and institution change

·         Income distribution and poverty

·         External trade and finance

·         Restructuring of corporate sector

Papers and presentations should be in English.

Important dates:  

·         Sept. 20: deadline for submitting abstracts. (full paper preferred)

·         Nov. 15: due date of the full paper

·         July 31: notification of acceptance for presentation

To propose a paper presentation, please send your abstract and a short bio-sketch to: seba_office@bnu.edu.cn .  The abstract should be about 250 English words, and the short bio (or short vita) should include information of full name, title, affiliation, position, research interests and major publications, email address, telephone number(s), and postal address.

China’s Economic Transition and Development Conference is organized by School of Economics and Business Administration, Beijing Normal University and magazine Economic Change and Restructuring. The selected paper will be published in the referred journal.
