Wilf Blackburn is a seasoned international business leader and author of Optimal Leadership, with nearly 30 years of experience in life insurance and financial services across Asia and Africa. He has held seven Regional and Country CEO roles, including with Allianz and Prudential, and has extensive board-level experience in multiple countries.

This lecture introduces university students—especially those majoring in finance, insurance, economics, and business—to the essential mindsets and habits required to start a successful career in today’s rapidly changing insurance and financial services landscape. Based on Optimal Leadership, the session focuses on purpose, trust, and people as the foundation of early-career success.
